It’s an excellent choice for edging, rock gardens, or the front of a sunny border, where its vibrant blooms create a striking contrast against silvers and greys.

Hardy and easy to grow, it enjoys well-drained soil and copes well with coastal or exposed sites. Deadhead spent spikes to prolong flowering and maintain its neat form.
