Veronica umbrosa 'Georgia Blue'
A Roy Lancaster introduction. Low-growing, mat-forming perennial that provides a welcome flush of early colour. From late winter into spring, it produces a mass of vivid sky-blue flowers held on bronzy stems above neat mounds of dark green foliage. A second, lighter flush of flowers often appears in autumn.
While frequently listed as semi-evergreen, We’ve found it to behave more as a herbaceous perennial, dying back in winter and returning reliably each spring. Its spreading habit makes it ideal for edging, groundcover, or softening paths and walls.
Sold currently in 9cm pots.
Height & Spread: 10–15cm x 45cm
Position: Full sun to partial shade
Soil: Well-drained, moderately fertile
Flowering Time: February to May (with possible autumn repeat)
