A milestone in peony breeding that's both a collector's plant and a gardener's plant. Spectacular pale lemon-yellow flowers that are very big and of a very clean colour. Young plants produce some semi-double blooms, but settle into being double. Side shoots extend the flowering season. Strong, thick stems hold the flowers well and don't have a problem with the worst of the Scottish weather. Still a relatively rare peony.
