Anthemis punctata subsp. cupaniana

£4.50

A tough, sun-loving perennial that offers a long season of cheerful colour. From late spring through to early autumn, it produces a profusion of white, daisy-like flowers with sunny yellow centres, rising above a soft mat of silvery, finely divided foliage. The extended flowering period makes it a valuable choice for keeping borders lively across the summer months.

Its low, spreading habit and aromatic leaves make it ideal for edging, gravel gardens, dry slopes, or spilling over paths and walls. Drought-tolerant and hardy once established, it thrives in poor, well-drained soils and copes well with coastal conditions.

Low-maintenance and much loved by pollinators, it's a brilliant addition to any wildlife-friendly or Mediterranean-style planting scheme.

Sold currently in 9cm-pots.

  • Height & Spread: 20–30cm x 40–60cm

  • Position: Full sun

  • Soil: Well-drained, poor to moderately fertile soil

  • Flowering Time: May through July

Telegraph Top 20 Mail-Order Plant Nurseries

One of the Daily Telegraph’s Top 20 mail-order nurseries. The largest list of peonies in Scotland, ranging from herbaceous peonies, Itoh or intersectional peonies and tree peonies.

Gardens Illustrated 2019 Badge

One of Gardens Illustrated's 100 best plant nurseries in the UK: "Billy Carruthers is mad about peonies and has over 300 varieties on the nursery. In recent years he's exhibited them at the Chelsea Flower Show. However, they're just the tip of the iceberg for this nursery, midway between Glasgow and Edinburgh, Central Scotland"
