Nepeta 'Hill Grounds'
Nepeta 'Hill Grounds' is a compact and softly spreading catmint, prized for its hazy spires of soft lavender-blue flowers and its aromatic grey-green foliage. Blooming from early summer into early autumn, it offers a long-lasting and gently informal presence in the border, much loved by bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.
Lower growing than many nepeta varieties, 'Hill Grounds' forms a tidy mound, making it well suited for edging paths, softening the front of a border, or underplanting taller perennials. It is drought-tolerant once established, easy to grow, and deer-resistant — an excellent choice for low-maintenance schemes or gravel gardens.
Cut back after flowering to encourage a fresh flush of blooms later in the season.
Sold currently in 2-litre pots.
Height & Spread: 50cm x 50cm
Position: Full sun
Soil: Well-drained, light to moderately fertile soil
Flowering Time: June to September
