A vibrant herbaceous perennial, Potentilla ‘Volcan’ produces masses of deep dark red, saucer-shaped flowers held over mounds of fresh green foliage. Blooming freely from early summer into autumn, it brings long-lasting colour to borders, gravel plantings, or mixed perennial schemes. Compact and well-behaved, it’s excellent for adding warmth and contrast among softer tones.
Hardy and easy to grow, it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, tolerating dry conditions once established. Deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering.
