A bold, architectural perennial with divided, textured foliage and upright plumes of creamy-white flowers in early to midsummer. The leaves emerge bronze-tinted and mature to green, adding interest even when not in flower.

Best in moist, humus-rich soil, but tolerant of heavier ground if it stays damp. A good choice for shaded borders, woodland edges, or alongside ponds and streams.

Sold currently in 2 litre pots.

  • Height & Spread: 90–120cm × 75–100cm

  • Position: Partial shade (tolerates full sun if soil stays moist)

  • Soil: Moist, fertile, humus-rich soil

  • Flowering Time: June to July
