A distinctive and rather handsome Scotch rose, Rosa spinosissima ‘William III’ forms a dense, naturally low shrub clothed in fine, ferny foliage. Exceptionally tough and long-lived, it is ideal for informal planting, wildlife gardens, or sunny banks where it can thrive with minimal intervention.

Sold currently as bare root.

Height: 90–120 cm
Position: Full sun
Soil: Well-drained, tolerant of poorer soils
Flowering Time: May–June
