Philadelphus 'Manteau d’Hermine'

£13.99

A beautifully compact mock orange, 'Manteau d’Hermine' is prized for its low, arching form and profusion of pearly white, double blooms. Flowering in early summer, the blooms are richly fragrant and held in clusters that contrast nicely with the small, dark green leaves.

Its dwarf size makes it especially useful for edging paths, softening the front of borders, or planting in containers where space is limited but scent is still desired.

Sold currently in 3-litre pots.

Telegraph Top 20 Mail-Order Plant Nurseries

One of the Daily Telegraph’s Top 20 mail-order nurseries. The largest list of peonies in Scotland, ranging from herbaceous peonies, Itoh or intersectional peonies and tree peonies.

Gardens Illustrated 2019 Badge

One of Gardens Illustrated's 100 best plant nurseries in the UK: "Billy Carruthers is mad about peonies and has over 300 varieties on the nursery. In recent years he's exhibited them at the Chelsea Flower Show. However, they're just the tip of the iceberg for this nursery, midway between Glasgow and Edinburgh, Central Scotland"
