A compact, evergreen subshrub, Teucrium lucidrys makes a neat, low hedge or edging with small, glossy green leaves and a naturally tidy habit. Spikes of rosy-pink flowers appear through summer, bringing a soft haze of colour and plenty of pollinators. Excellent for knot gardens, parterres, and formal lines, or as a sunny groundcover.
Tough and heat tolerant, it thrives on free-draining soils and responds well to clipping. Trim lightly after flowering to maintain shape and encourage fresh growth.
