An outstanding lutea hybrid tree peony raised by Saunders in 1942. Produces large, semi-double flowers of soft creamy yellow flushed with pink and rose-red, with deeper flares at the base of the petals. The colour shifts as the blooms mature, giving a multicoloured effect. Vigorous and floriferous, forming a handsome shrub with strong stems and attractive foliage.
